Summer Sizzler Held in Valparaiso
To show their appreciation to clients and friends, Laciak Accountancy Group and Sound Construction, LLC, in cooperation with the Chesterton/Duneland Chamber of Commerce sponsored a great event for nearly 200 people from area businesses. The “Summer Sizzler” was held June 9th in Valparaiso in the offices and on the grounds of the building where Laciak>cpa and Sound Construction have offices.

Taste the Best of Harbor Country
Members of area communities turned out for the above event, which was held June 12th at Craig Smith Gallery in Harbert, Michigan. Proceeds will support the work of the Help for Southwest Michigan Advocacy Center. As the name implies, guests enjoyed the best of the area's top restaurants, wineries and food purveyors. The event also marked the opening of the gallery group exhibit, "Word Up! Text as Art MMX.”

Rock the Runway – Lubeznik Center for the Arts
Eighteen designers from regional schools “Rocked the Runway” on Saturday, June 12th at Lubeznik Center for the Arts in Michigan City. The winning designer was Fraley Le, an up-and-coming designer from the International Academy of Design and Technology in Chicago. Runners-up were Kelsy Nixon from Columbia College Chicago and Seth Meyerink-Griffin of the Art Institute of Chicago.
